Everything

So what's the title all about? Last Saturday, we were supposed to attend a wedding at Paco Church but unfortunately, we didn't know how to get there and were late anyways so we went straight to Ilustrado @ Intramuros. A very beautiful place indeed, it was the perfect setting paired with perfect food, perfect program, and perfect music (That's where the title comes along! Its a song by Michael Buble which is a favorite of mine.), it was a night, not only the couple, but also the guests won't certainly forget.

OK. I wasn't really trained to be in front of the cam.
Dress: The Platform (a People Are People outlet store @ Robinson's Galleria---good place to go to  if you have the patience to look amongst the broken sizes); Camel booties: Wade; Belt: Robinson's Dep't Store

My beautiful ate, Tanya, who used to model. She was one of the emcees of the program, hence, it was perfect.

This is my brother, Genda. See? Everyone in the family is a fashionista.

Earrings: I bought them (for ONLY P50!!!) from a bangketa vendor at Katipunan during the feast of Sta. Clara; Bangles: Robinson's Dep't Store

Before all of the guests arrive, a little sniping.

A closer look at ze cake.

I really should've taken photos of the restaurant itself. Miss, miss, miss.

The gorgeous couple, Ate Ces and Kuya Arthur. Cheers to them!

Remember Looklet?

Do you remember Looklet.com? Cause I remember EVERYTHING about it alright (read: my username-Kissing Cherries, the 300+ hearts on my profile, and the friends I've met and made who are fellow Looklet addicts).
Oh, the fun of creating looks with items you don't even have to buy? But of course, you can't have either cause its only in a computer. Many are still wondering what happened to Looklet since the team's last message:

"Dear Looklet User, on January 31, looklet.com will take a new direction. Unfortunately, this means that the user community is discontinued including the user pages. Please save all material you want to keep from your page. We've had a blast with looklet.com and we hope to see you all again."

If you try to visit their site now, fortunately, you can still play with the old selection of clothes, accessories, and models but you can no longer access your account.

To reminisce, here some of my top looks:

To the people who pioneered the realistic dress-up mania, I salute you and I hope to see you guys again!

Metrowear Rocks the Runway 2012

I'm gonna start my blog with a bang and what else would be a bang other than a fashion show? This one is a bit late though.

Metrowear Rocks the Runway was held last May 2, at Shangri-la EDSA. It was a show filled with the most celebrated designers (read: Eric delos Santos, Francis Libiran, Veejay Floresca) whose designs were showcased on the runway by celebrities like Kim Chui, Slater Young, and Maja Salvador. To match this rocking presentation are songs from Wolfgang, Callalily, Kjwan, and Rico Blanco.

What made the show special though is the usage of sustainable and earth-friendly materials for the showpieces.
The show was divided up into three (3) themes: Aquatic, La Dolce Vita, and '50s.

Yours truly
